Andrea & Peter

Andrea and Peter are one of the coolest couples we’ve been able to photograph. They’re very easy going and down to earth. Their day started off with some shots of them getting ready in their separate rooms at the Credit Valley Golf Course. Both were very excited and very anxious to get things going.

The outdoor ceremony was very laid back, tearful, and so beautiful to watch (the huge, jaw droopingly beautiful golf course was the backdrop! I don’t know how many times we said to each other “I can’t believe we’re in Toronto!”). The couple cracked jokes, stared at each other with grins, and giggled the entire ceremony. It was super sweet and a lot of fun to photograph.

After the ceremony we got a bunch of shots of the bride and the groom, and all of the wedding party. It was a lot of fun and so easy because of the beautiful location and fall colours. Pete was a tad camera shy (poor guy. we were fairly warned beforehand and learned during their e-shoot), but he got through it! Andrea was really awesome and understanding and we made sure their photos turned out wonderfully.

The reception, like most we photograph, was really a lot of fun and really special. There was a mini-putt game, where if you got a hole-in-one, the couple had to kiss (very cute), awesome food (I had a veggie sti-fry!), and the speeches were so emotional. Andrea and her two sisters (also bridesmaids) lost their mom a few years ago, and everyone was in remembrance of her the entire day. The girls talked about their mom during the speech, and we couldn’t help but think of ours too.

The last thing that made this wedding really awesome, was their very own photo booth! Andrea contacted us before the wedding asking if we could set up a little photo booth with props. We were so excited! We had chalkboards, fake mustaches, funny lips, hats, and more. Guests had so much fun posing silly for us.

Thank you Andrea and Peter! We like you guys.
