Hi! This is our first official blog post from our brand new blog that is finally up and running. We’re excited new bloggers, and can’t wait to share everything with you!
For our first post, we’re bringing you Karen & Daniel’s wedding!
Karen and Daniel’s day was awesome. The whole affair was made super easy for us because they really are one of the most relaxed, care-free couples we’ve worked with. And they’re pretty cute to boot!
It was a super hot, sunny day in Oakville. The beautiful ceremony took place outside under a charming pavilion (we LOVE outdoor ceremonies!!). It was a nice, simple, heartfelt ceremony. Everyone was so happy to be there. It was lovely.
One of our favourite parts of the day was undoubtedly shooting the couple and their bridal party in front of the lighthouse at the harbour in Oakville. Karen and Daniel met at a boat show, Daniel works on boats, and they have a mutual love for lighthouses. So, yes this location for them was perfect, fun, and meaningful.
The reception was also one of the best ones we’ve seen. The bride made her own cake (!!!), the DJ was amazing, and the guests were so much fun. There was also a late night candy and sweet table, a seafood buffett, and a martini luge! Karen and Daniel danced the night away with their family and friends after beautiful speeches (we can’t help but get teared up everytime), first dances, and awesome food.
