Our Style

We love and consider it an absolute privilege to be able to capture your special, forever loved wedding memories in photos.

All of our packages include two photographers to better document your day, you'lll be guaranteed either Jaclyn or Michelle and one of our talented second shooters.

Our style is a mix of romantic, candid, and fun. We love catching subtle glances or giant belly laughs, but we also love to work with our brides to help set a scene or a fabulously stylized image too!

We're crazy about details and new wedding ideas & love talking over ideas with our clients!

Process from Start to Finish

Planning a wedding is so fun and exciting, so many details to decide on, so many ways to show off who you are and show your close family and friends the love you have for your fiancé.
Saving those memories is what we do best and we’re here to help you plan your wedding, not add to your stress. Here how dealing with us usually goes:

1. Contact

First you make contact with us saying that you would like to meet us and discuss further.

2. Consultation

We meet (usually at a coffee shop or a place that is convenient for both of us) and we show you some of our albums of our recent work. We also talk about who you are, what you both like to do together, and of course what your vision for the day is. It’s so important to us to get to know you well so you can bounce ideas off of us so your photos totally reflect who you are. Finally, we discuss photography packages, printing packages, and what items work for you.

3. Pre-Shoot

Before your engagment shoot we can chat on the phone or through email as much as you’d like in order to be sure we have found “the” location and to tie up any loose ends.

4. Engagement Shoot

When it comes time for the engagement shoot the pressure is totally OFF! We shoot outdoors and all you need to bring is yourselves, but you can also bring a second outfit if you’d like. Our engagement shoots are generally 1-1.5 hours long so you have some time for a wardrobe change if you feel like mixing it up. When picking out your clothes just make sure you don't have too many patterns or large logos. We discourange wearing these because they will draw attention away from your beautiful smiling faces.

5. After the E-shoot

After the engagement shoot we deliver the edited hi-resolution, non-watermarked images on DVD. You have no obligation to do any printing with us and the delivery of the photos on DVD is included in the price of the package.

6. Wedding Planning

We love it when couples come to us with a really specific vision for the big day but we also love when couples tell us that they want to do something different and they trust us to execute! Before the wedding we exchange inspiration (was there a great editorial shoot in a magazine that you absolutely fell in love with or do you want to incorporate the coffee cups you each drink out of every Saturday morning?), and details (who is your maid-of-honour, what is the schedule for the day, etc) to do everything we can to make sure that we're getting the priceless images that you will truly cherish forever.

7. The Wedding

We arrive at the time we agreed upon with all of our equipment, including back-up cameras and memory cards, and the day really does fly right by! We have so much fun with you, your bridal party, families, and guests while capturing the events as they happen. Getting candid shots is usually the hardest but certainly the most rewarding - we usually take candid images for the entire day but also add in posed family shots. We also love taking dramatic portraits of you and your new husband or wife. When planning the timeline for the day we encourage couples to set aside about 2 hours for bridal party, bride and groom, and family images.

8. After the Wedding

We deliver your final hi-resolution non watermarked images on a DVD around 4 weeks after the date of your wedding. You have rights to reproduce the disc and print as many photos as you would like. We do offer professional, high quality printing solutions including albums, canvases, prints and even thank you cards.
