Getting ready was a breeze since the ceremony and first-look were all in the same location. We absolutely loved the bride’s classic bridal look featuring lace and simple half-up hair. Staircase descent into a first look is also so giddy and emotional. Stopping mid-stair to text to groom and pass the phone back off to a bridesmaid or a quick lip touch-up from a makeup artist. Everything is moving so quickly and people are yelling time checks in the distance while time also sort of feels like it’s in slow-motion and we’re moving through mud.
Especially for brides, this is the moment when it’s all real. Holding your bouquet and wearing your dress you picked out a year prior. Suddenly you’re a bride and it’s your day. We love relishing in this moment and capturing the giddiness along with the peace that feeling a little out-of-body can bring!
